| The Incorporated Village of Southampton Police Department, in accordance with the United States Constitution and the Constitution of the State of New York, is responsible for providing to the citizens of the community the leadership and support required to maintain the peace, order and public security, for providing quality of life services, for preventing crime and other offenses, for apprehending offenders and bringing them to justice and for addressing fears and concerns of the public with respect to crime and disorder.
